Route 258/10 (South Church Street) Bridge Construction
December 2023 - September 2025

Beginning January 22, 2024 the bridge on route 258/10 over Cypress Creek will be restricted to a single 11 foot wide lane. Traffic will be limited to westbound traffic into the town of Smithfield.
A signed detour will be in place to direct all eastbound traffic to the Route 258/10 bypass via Main Street and South Church Street/Benns Church Boulevard.
Occasional temporary full closures of the bridge may occur as needed later in the project for beam placement activities.
